I trained as a graphic designer at Bolton
College of Art in the north west of England
in the early nineteen eighties.

I worked in design studios in and around
Manchester for around ten years before
getting into running pubs and nightclubs
in the mid nineties, just as the independent
music scene became mainstream.

For the last seven or eight years, I’ve worked
for an art supplies company in Bolton. We get
to see a lot of artwork from the UK and around
the world

Recently, I’ve started painting again and
I’ve managed to combine my interest in
art, music and films in the iconic style
of painting represented on this site.

Although I can paint and draw in a
wide variety of styles, I find this style
the most satisfying way of producing
paintings at this moment in time.
